Cayos Cochinos

Just a few miles off the coast from La Ceiba, you can see the islands of Cayos Cochinos. Of the 13 keys, two are small islands: Cochino Mayor and Cochino Menor. Cayos Cochinos forms part of the world's second largest Barrier Reef system, known as the Meso-American Barrier Reef system. Diving, snorkeling, hiking and bird watching are but a few of the alternatives available to the nature lovers who visit the keys. The Garifuna inhabit the surrounding area and cultural activities can be enjoyed such as dancing, fishing, local art and food. Cayos Cochinos is a true paradise!

Canopy
